Micromax has enhanced the features of the new smartphone. This new phone has Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS as compared to Android 4.0 (ICS) of Canvas 2. So the users will have exposure to more apps, games and enhanced performance.

The change that has surprised us quite well is Canvas HD will have MediaTek’s Quad core processor as compared to the dual core processor of Canvas 2. So the new device will consume less power. The user will have the privilege to access high end games and applications. In addition to the processor and the chipset company has also enhanced RAM (Random Access Memory) to 1 GB. These two changes will provide super blazing fast speed to the device.

And as the name itself suggest the new Micromax Smartphone will have an HD screen. As the feature is already available with so many phones you will not get surprised but as compared to 480 x 854 Pixel resolution of Canvas 2, Canvas HD will provide 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

There are no changes in Camera and Connectivity segment ( Bluetooth, Wi-fi, 3G). But with an 8MP primary camera and VGA front camera; you will have features worth its price. The company has enhanced the battery capacity of Canvas HD. The Battery life was a problem with Canvas 2, so the company has tried to eliminate the problem by processor with a higher clock rate and enhanced battery.
